Make Money as a personal Chef

You don’t have to be educated, professionally trained or know another accent to be a personal chef.  There are many people who would love someone to do the cooking.  If you make mouth watering delicious food you can make money at it.

For extra money you can place free ads on craigslist.org and offer to cook or BBQ for peoples events, parties, or a thoughtful birthday gift or funeral.  Taking the stress off people and giving them a wonderful meal will make you a lot of money.  I would love to find someone to do the grilling at my parties so I can mingle and take care of other things.

You could have a wonderful client market if your food is healthy.  If you can cook for diabetics, vegetarians, vegans, or those looking to lose weight.  Choose your specialty, design and write up an ad.

When clients contact you know prices.  Take into account all your expenses to include with your price, such as gas to and from, groceries, wine, drinks, napkins, etc.  Have a plan for cooking at their homes, will you bring your own pans and serving dishes or use theirs?

Always be courteous, cheerful, and business like.  Answer all your calls and e-mails right away.  Get some simple business cards printed up at an affordable printing company like this… and get some business cards made.  If you need help designing it www.MoonPetalDesigns.com will create a business card for you for $50.00.  Then pass them out to family and friends.  Offer an incentive for them to get you business, give them a flat referral fee or percentage of the job.

You could easily pick up an extra income with just a few nights a week. Good Luck!

Get Rich with Affiliate Programs

Many people are looking for things to sell, but quality affordable items are
hard to find.  Or are they?  Have you thought of becoming an affiliate?  Almost
everyone has an affiliate program nowadays.  Being an affiliate means getting
paid for recommending their product.   You are connecting yourself with their
webpage.

You just find an affiliate program of a product you like and sign up for the
program.  Usually they want contact information and who to pay when you make
your money.

Next you get codes, unique links that let the company know you are the one who
brought that new customer to their web site.  When someone clicks the link you
gave them, goes to the site and purchases a product, you earn a commission.

One great affiliate program is called E-JUNKIE

Another affiliate webpage is
clickbank. They are both very easy to use, but clickbank has a wider variety of products to sell.

How to Improve Your Search Engine Ranking

There are many ways to improve your rank. You can hire someone if you are not very savy like these SEO (search Engine Optimization) professionals MoonPetal Designs.

If you need free ideas have your webdesigner make good use of meta tags and keywords.
Use good keywords on your actual webpage. First, the copy (The words to be printed on your webpage, the descriptions) should be typed and not in an image. The search engines cannot read images. In your copy make sure to use words relating to the subject of your webpage, the search engines will search your site and search all the words used.

Next, sure fancy flash and video on your webpages are nice, but they won’t get you noticed by the search engines. Get rid of them and type your words instead of using flash.

Third, get lots of quality links to your site. Find other webpages, bulletin boards, and business sites to have a link to your webpage from theirs.

That’s a good start and should help you.

Earn Money Filling Out Surveys

Everyone wants to get paid for their opinion. You can find legitimate companies to pay you in rewards or money for fillinf out questionaires. It’s easy work, but the pay is lousy. In fact the only site I ever received anything from was http://www.e-rewards.com.

With e-rewards it was easy signing up and easy to fill out the surverys. I receive one or two a week, they take between 1-20 minutes. Unfortunately they don’t pay in cash. You earn money in our account and you can buy rewards, such as, magazines, gift certificates, frequent flyer miles, etc.. I have recieved rewards already. They are legitimate.

Other sites:

http://www.epollsurveys.com (most offers to be entered into drawings, never won anything and the surverys are LONG)
http://www.PaidMarketingPanel.com
http://www.surveymonster.net (a webpage filled with survey sites)

My final opinion? It’s not worth the bother. There are so many other less time consuming ways to make money. Also you give up a LOT of personal information. That being said, you can do it and watch TV at the same time. You decide. If you hear of any lucrative real sites, let me know.

How to Make Money Growing Rooted Cuttings and Selling them Wholesale

Once you know how to effectively propagate landscape plants, you will soon have more rooted cuttings than you can use. At that time you can decide whether or not you should quit growing cuttings, since you have all you need, or maybe you like to sell some of your cuttings to a wholesale grower.
Let’s discuss how easy it is to start a business selling lining out stock. That’s what nurserymen call the little plants that they buy to plant out in the field or in containers. Lining out stock, or liners for short.
“Nurserymen buy plants?” You might be asking.
Yes they do. Nurserymen probably buy more plants than any other group of people in the country. Why would they buy them if they know how to grow them?
Because sometimes they can’t grow them fast enough to keep up with the demand. Or maybe they would like to grow a certain variety of plant, but can’t grow it themselves because they don’t have any place to get several thousand cuttings. So what they do is buy in rooted cuttings, plant them in the field or in containers, and then they either grow them on to sell, or they grow them on and just keep them around a year or two longer so they can take cuttings from them.
Then once they have a supply of their own plants they can sell the ones they bought in, that are now landscape size. Does this make sense?
Let’s say that Mary the nursery owner buys 1,000 Variegated Weigela rooted cuttings @ 50¢ each. She plants them in the field in the early spring and they take off growing like crazy. That summer she goes out and takes 3 cuttings from each plant (They need pruning away, right?).
She sticks those 3,000 cuttings under intermittent mist and in about 5 weeks she has 3,000 rooted cuttings that she can plant out that fall, and she does just that. The following summer she can get about6,000 cuttings from the original 1000 plants that she bought, plus another 9,000 cuttings from the 3,000 she planted out last fall.
That’s a total of 12,000 cuttings.
She continues to plant her rooted cuttings out in the field and keeps taking cuttings from them until she has all she wants to grow. From then on she can take as many cuttings as she needs from the plants that she has in the field.
By now the original 1,000 plants that she bought @ 50¢ each are large enough to dig and sell, and they are worth $10.00 to $15.00 each wholesale. That’s $8,000 from a $500 investment, plus she can produce as many variegated weigela as she wants without buying any more cuttings.
Does it really happen this way? Yes it does. I was recently talking to a friend who grows and sells all kinds of plants and he told me that he has been buying Dwarf Alberta Spruce cuttings and growing them on and selling them. He doesn’t even root any himself, he just buys 5,000 every year, pots them up and sells them wholesale. How many other nurseryman across the country do you suppose do that?
To get started you can either buy a stock plant or two, or buy several hundred cuttings of the variety that you would like to sell. Instead of planting them out in the field, I would plant them in beds. Make each bed 4’ wide so you can reach the center to weed and take cuttings, and place the plants in the bed 10” apart.
As long as you keep taking cuttings the plants will remain fairly small, and compact. Then after a two or three years dig them up, put them in pots and sell them. By then you will have thousands more coming on that you can take cuttings from. Start out slow until you know what there is a market for.
